Abstract
Abstract A mobile track surveying apparatus comprises two spaced-apart bogies. Track gage and superelevation measuring devices as well as track grade and lateral alignment measuring devices are mounted on the two bogies, the latter including a theodolite mounted on a carrier plate on one bogie and a target mounted on a carrier plate on the other bogie, the theodolite and target defining an optical reference line determining the grade and alignment of the track.
