Abstract
Abstract 1-Chloroacrylic acid amide derivatives of formula I ##STR1## wherein R 1 represents C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, R 2 represents C 1 -C 8 -alkyl, or a cycloalkyl bound directly or by way of an alkylene bridge member, or a benzyl or phenyl radical which is unsubstituted or at most tri-substituted in the aromatic nucleus, and x represents the number 1 or 2, are effective agents for the control of microorganisms. They may also be used as active substances in seed dressing agents.
