Abstract
Abstract New amphoteric compounds which contain two basic groups, at least one of which is a quaternary ammonium group, and an anionic group of the carboxylic type and one or two lipophile chains. These compounds have excellent cationic characteristics while being less, and in some cases nonirritating to the mucous membrane of the eye.
