Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim
106 words
An improved rubber processing aid comprising: a. an alkali or amine salt of an aromatic sulfonic acid having the formula: ##STR2##where X is hydrogen or alkyl of from 4 to 14 carbon atoms and n has a value of from 1 to 5, and b. optionally a long chain fatty organic acid having a maximum of about 22 carbon atoms in the chain the improvement wherein the amount by weight of said fatty acid present is less than the amount by weight of said sulfonic acid salt, and said processing aid includes a thioether in an amount sufficient to catalyze the peptizing action of said salt.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
