Abstract
Abstract A method is provided for preparing a fibre from a solution of a halogen-containing complex phosphate of aluminium. The complex contains at least one chemically-bound molecule of a hydroxy compound R-OH, where R is a hydrogen atom or an organic group. The complex is dissolved in water or an organic solvent. The solution is fibrized and then dried to produce the fibre.
