Abstract
Abstract The hyperplane recognizer identifies a target by recognizing its radar siture and separating this signature from background clutter and the signatures of other identifiable targets. The signal is passed through a tapped delay line, with each tap being weighted. As the radar signal travels down the delay line it is scaled by the weights. The weighted signal is summed, and the summed signal is above a defined threshold if a sought target is recognized and below if not.
