A pigment composition consisting of an admixture of a copper phthalocyanine pigment with 1 to 20% of a stabilizing compound of the formula: ##SPC4## wherein Pc represents unmetallized or metallized phthalocyanine X represents oxygen, sulfur or the --NH-- bridge, R 1 represents halogen, alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy, cyano, carboxy, nitro, N-alkylamino or N,N-dialkylamino, R 2 represents hydrogen, alkyl or alkoxy, R 3 represents hydrogen or alkyl, n is a number from 1 to 8, R 1 , r 2 and R 3 being in the ortho, meta or para positions of the benzene ring.
