Abstract
Abstract A method for the determination of minute amounts of furazolidone in animal tissue which consists in solvent extracting furazolidone therefrom and its conversion from an ultraviolet absorbing substance to a fluorescent one by exposure to pyridine followed by irradiation with ultraviolet light thereby permitting measurement of furazolidone by fluorescence intensity.
