Abstract
Abstract An aqueous electrolyte solution containing magnesium cations and bicarbonate anion which contains carbon dioxide gas dissolved in the solution as carbonic acid in an amount up to the saturation point of the solution so that it can be terminally sterilized in a sealed container to produce a clear solution without precipitated water insoluble magnesium compounds, which is especially suitable for parenteral injection.
