Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim
79 words
In a process for continuously forming soap bars having detailed graphics thereon wherein a soap composition is plodded, formed into a continuous ribbon, billeted, shaped, and packaged; the improvement consisting essentially of cooling said billet after shaping and prior to packaging by subjecting the shaped billets to a cooling gas in a confined zone at a velocity thereof and for a time sufficient to harden at least the surface of said billets to substantially resist marring during subsequent packaging.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim

In a process for continuously forming soap bars having detailed graphics thereon wherein a soap composition is plodded, formed into a continuous ribbon, billeted, shaped, and packaged; the improvement consisting essentially of cooling said billet after shaping and prior to packaging by subjecting the shaped billets to a cooling gas in a confined zone at a velocity thereof and for a time sufficient to harden at least the surface of said billets to substantially resist marring during subsequent packaging.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
12 words
The improvement according to claim 1 wherein the cooling gas is air.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
52 words
The improvement according to claim 1 wherein the gas velocity is between about 20 to about 30 feet per second, the inlet temperature of said gas is between about 30° to 40°F. and the residence time within said cooling zone of the billet is from about 150 seconds to about 4.5 minutes.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
30 words
The improvement according to claim 3 wherein the gas velocity is about 30 feet per second; inlet air temperature is about 35°F. and the residence time is about 3 minutes.
