Abstract

Abstract Low temperature flexible fluorine-containing, elastomeric polyurethane containing poly(perfluoroalkylene oxide) units, --CF 2 O--(CF 2 CF 2 O) m (CF 2 O) n --CF 2 --, are prepared, for example, by reacting hydroxy-terminated poly(perfluoroalkylene oxide) with polyisocyanate, said polyurethane being useful in the shape of a seal or gasket or useful as a structural adhesive or a solid propellant binder.
