Abstract
Abstract The minimum pour temperature of a fatty acid, analogous to the ASTM pour point of a hydrocarbon oil, may be lowered by 70 DEG F. and more by the method of this invention, which comprises mixing therewith from 5 to about 50 parts by weight of a C2-C18 acyclic monoamine or diamine. The method of this invention is applicable to a wide variety of fatty acids and mixtures.
