Abstract
Abstract In a circuit arrangement such as a chopper circuit of the type that controls a voltage to be applied to a load, a first switching element, a series and resonating circuit consisting of an inductance element and a capacitor connected in parallel to said first switching element, and a second switching element for short-circuiting said inductance element. The second switching element is connected in forward direction with respect to said first switching element and in parallel to said inductance element. Each of said elements comprises a thyristor.
