Abstract
Abstract A method of preparing aqueous solutions of sterol glycosides and their ester derivatives characterized by solubilizing sterol glycosides and their ester derivatives by (1) dissolving said sterol glycoside or ester in a lower aliphatic alcohol and subsequently adding a hydrophilic non-ionic surface active agent, or (2) mixing or dissolving said sterol glycoside or ester with or in a lipophilic surface active agent or its solution in an organic solvent miscible with water and subsequently adding a hydrophilic surface active agent.
