Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 37 words
Process for the production of proteolytic enzymes by aerobic fermentation of a medium containing cabohydrates, comprising using Bacillus firmus var. Arosia, strain NCIB 10557, for the fermentation, and recovering the produced enzymes from the resulting fermentation liquid.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 37 words
Process for the production of proteolytic enzymes by aerobic fermentation of a medium containing cabohydrates, comprising using Bacillus firmus var. Arosia, strain NCIB 10557, for the fermentation, and recovering the produced enzymes from the resulting fermentation liquid.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 27 words
Process according to claim 1, in which the fermentation is carried out at a temperature between 28°C and 50°C for a period of 48 to 72 hours.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 19 words
Process according to claim 1, in which the fermentation liquid is subjected to flocculation before recovering of the enzymes.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 20 words
Process according to claim 3, in which the flocculation is performed by adding an inorganic salt to the fermented liquid.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 22 words
Process according to claim 3, in which the flocculated liquid is filtrated, and the enzyme is precipitated by a salting out procedure.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 26 words
Process according to claim 3, in which the flocculated liquid is filtered, and the enzyme is precipitated by admixing a water-miscible organic solvent to the filtrate.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 11 words
Proteolytic enzymes as produced by the process according to claim 1.
