Abstract Water-soluble monoazo-dyestuff of the formula ##EQU1## in which W is --CN or --CO--NH 2 , A is (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-phenylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-di(lower) alkyl-phenylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-lower alkyl-lower alkoxy-phenylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-lower alkoxy-phenylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-monosulfo-naphthylene, monosulfo-di(lower) alkoxy-phenylene, monosulfo-lower alkoxy-lower alkyl-phenylene, disulfo-phenylene or disulfo-naphthylene, and B is disulfo-phenylene, monosulfo-di(lower) alkoxy-phenylene, monosulfo-lower alkxoy-lower-alkyl-phenylene, disulfo-lower alkoxy-phenylene, disulfo-naphthylene, trisulfo-naphthylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-lower alkoxy-lower alkyl-phenylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-lower alkoxy-phenylene, (β-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)-naphthylene, ##SPC1##
