Abstract
Abstract Ethylenically unsaturated azolide compounds are interpolymerized with acrylic ester monomers via an emulsion polymerization process. Di- or polyfunctional alcohols or amines are admixed with the resulting latexes to form latex compositions which are particularly useful as binders for nonwoven fibers. The latex compositions are stable at room temperatures, but upon drying and heating readily, yield crosslinked polymeric vulcanizates.
