Abstract
Abstract A homopolar dynamo-electric machine with stationary superconducting field coils has contra-rotating rotors carrying conductors which are interconnected by slip-rings and brushes between the rotors to form a series circuit with the current flowing through the conductors of one rotor in the opposite direction to the flow in the conductors of the other rotor.
