Abstract
Abstract The stability of tetracycline is improved by compounding it with 8 - hydroxyquinoline or a chlorinated and/or alkyl derivative thereof. In the compositions, which are particularly suitable for topical application, the tetracycline and the quinoline derivative are shown to behave synergistically against certain micro-organisms.
