Thermoplastic molding material which comprises a mixture of a. a plastic selected from the group consisting of polyamide and polybutylene terephthalate; and b. from 10 to 60% by weight based on the weight of the molding material of glass fibers, said mixture further containing a pigmenting amount of c. zinc sulfide the amount of said zinc sulfide being from 1 to 2% by weight, based on the weight of the thermoplastic material.
