Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 73 words
A process for preparing a finely-divided, easily dispersible colorant composition which comprises preparing a slurry of a substrate consisting essentially of a finely-divided, inert, water-insoluble inorganic material in a solution of a dyestuff, removing the solvent from said slurry by atomizing said slurry into a stream of heated gas and recovering the resulting dried product as a free-flowing particulate composition of said inert substrate having said dyestuff evenly dispersed on the surface thereof.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 73 words
A process for preparing a finely-divided, easily dispersible colorant composition which comprises preparing a slurry of a substrate consisting essentially of a finely-divided, inert, water-insoluble inorganic material in a solution of a dyestuff, removing the solvent from said slurry by atomizing said slurry into a stream of heated gas and recovering the resulting dried product as a free-flowing particulate composition of said inert substrate having said dyestuff evenly dispersed on the surface thereof.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 14 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the solution of dyestuff is an aqueous solution.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 23 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the slurry comprises about 2 to 20 parts of substrate material per 100 parts of dyestuff solution.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 14 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the dyestuff is a non-toxic, water soluble dyestuff.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 31 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the amount of dyestuff in said solution is about 0.1 to 20% by weight based on the total weight of the dyestuff and the substrate.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 23 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the substrate material has a particle size ranging from about 0.001 to about 250 microns in diameter.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 17 words
The process of claim 1 wherein the temperature of the heated gas is about 100° to 300°C.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 29 words
A spray-dried, free-flowing, finely-divided colorant composition comprising a substrate having a dyestuff evenly dispersed on the surface thereof, said substrate consisting essentially of a finely-divided inert water-insoluble inorganic material.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 29 words
A spray-dried, free-flowing, finely-divided colorant composition comprising a substrate having a dyestuff evenly dispersed on the surface thereof, said substrate consisting essentially of a finely-divided inert water-insoluble inorganic material.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 13 words
The composition of claim 8 wherein the dyestuff is a water soluble dyestuff.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 22 words
A dry, solid particulate colored composition comprising a cleansing composition having uniformly dispersed therethrough a colorant composition as claimed in claim 9.
