Abstract
Abstract A process for preparing improved glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic compositions, the products produced thereby, and articles injection molded from the thermoplastic compositions. The process includes mixing and plastifying a powdered thermoplastic resin containing glass fibers in a screw extruder, milling the plastified resin-glass blend into a sheet on a hot roll mill, and dicing the sheet into pellets. The pellets are particularly suitable for use in forming articles by injection molding.
