Abstract
Abstract A novel process for the dyeing of modified polyester fibers containing sulfonate group, as well as mixed fibers and union fabrics thereof with other fibrous materials with cationic dyestuff is provided. The dyeing is carried out in the presence of one or more of aliphatic dicarboxylic acid diesters containing 8 to 14 carbon atoms. The resulting dyeings possess an outstanding fastness properties especially fastness to light.
