Abstract
Abstract A thickening composition comprising a mixture of a Xanthomonas hydrophilic colloid with dextrin. A thickened aqueous media containing a mixture of a Xanthomonas hydrophilic colloid and dextrin. A denture adhesive composition containing a Xanthomonas hydrophilic colloid, dextrin and a buffering salt in an amount which is effective to provide a pH for the denture adhesive composition which is neutral or slightly higher.
