Abstract
Abstract Additive formulations for use in petroleum distillates such as gasoline which provide improved properties will comprise a mixture of a solution of the polymeric reaction product between an epihalohydrin and an N-alkyl polyamine in an aromatic solvent, a solution of the polymeric reaction product of an epihalohydrin and a primary amine in an aromatic solvent, a lower molecular weight alcohol and a demulsifier.

An additive formulation for petroleum distillates which comprises from about 50% to about 90% by weight of a solution of the polymeric reaction product of an epihalohydrin and an N-alkylpolyamine in which the alkyl group contains at least 12 carbon atoms, from about 10% to about 50% by weight of a solution of the polymeric reaction product of an epihalohydrin and a primary alkylamine in which the alkyl portion contains at least 12 carbon atoms, from about 1% to about 10% by weight of an alcohol of from 1 to 5 carbon atoms, and from about 1% to about 10% by weight of a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide.
