Abstract
Abstract The present invention concerns novel phosphoric acid esters of the formula: WHEREIN EACH R, is independently, a radical of formula -CH2-C(CH2Hal)3, or EACH Hal is independently, chlorine or bromine, N IS O or an integer 1, 2, 3 or 4 M IS AN INTEGER 1, 2, 3, 4 OR 5 AND THE MOLECULE CONTAINS AT LEAST EIGHT BROMINE ATOMS. The compounds are useful flame retardants for, e.g., flammable plastics materials.
