Abstract
Abstract Acetylene substituted aromatic primary amines have been prepared by a method that yields a new class of compounds which by virtue of their stereo chemistry impart greater tractability and solubility to acetylene substituted polyimide oligomers. Compounds prepared by this method are useful as intermediates in the preparation of polyimide oligomers exhibiting lower melting points and improved solubilities.
