Abstract
Abstract N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine is produced by the acid hydrolysis of N-t-butyl-N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine or its esters. N(phosphonomethyl)glycine is useful as a post-emergent broad spectrum herbicide.
