Abstract

Abstract A detergent composition has been formed by the combination of a detergent and a pH indicative polymer, which is prepared by bonding a polymer to a pH indicator, such as phthalein indicator, sulfophthalein indicator, azo indicator, or the like. The indicator is condensed or addition polymerized onto the polymer or with the monomer to obtain a pH indicative polymer which can be used for indicating any decrease in the activity of the detergent.
