Abstract
Abstract Improved hydrocarbon conversion and/or hydrofining processes utilizing stabilized zeolite-amorphous oxide catalysts prepared by (1) partial ammonium ion exchange of the zeolite component, (2) steam calcination to effect deammoniation, (3) further ammonium ion exchange to reduce the zeolitic alkali metal content to a very low level, and (4) final calcination of the resulting ammonium-hydrogen zeolite as a particulate composite with an amorphous inorganic oxide such as alumina.
