Abstract

Abstract A method for building and maintaining the consistency of a hydrous calcium silicate product forming slurry is disclosed. The building of the consistency of the slurry is carried out by quiescing the slurry after it is formed. Maintaining the consistency of the slurry is accomplished by alternate periods of mixing and quiescing of the slurry.
