Abstract
Abstract Pigment preparations of triphenylmethane dyestuffs which are coated by resins such as natural resins, their oxidation products as well as synthetic resins and the modification products thereof. The pigment preparations have a high tinctorial strength, clear shades and can easily be dispersed in printing varnishes. Moreover, they have excellent properties in preparing brightened black printing inks on a soot basis. A process for preparing the resinated pigment is also disclosed.
