Abstract
Abstract Dry soil resistance and nonflame propagating characteristics are insured in textile fibers by applying thereto an aqueous dispersion containing at least 5 weight percent of a perfluoroalkyl ester of a carboxylic acid of from 3 to 30 carbon atoms. After the dispersion is applied, the fibers are dried at between 120* to 170*C.
