Abstract
Abstract A plural cell battery composed of a plurality of cells (primary or secondary) wherein the electrodes in adjacent cells are rodshaped comprising a core of a plastic insulating material surrounded by active material in which several electrical leads of conductive material are imbedded. Electrodes of this type may be interconnected by conducting lines which are arranged to pass straight through the common wall between adjacent cells, or may be connected at one end to a pole bridge and thereby form a tubular plate electrode.
