Abstract
Abstract A quaternary ammonium chloride of the formula wherein R is alkyl or alkenyl having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or phenyl, R1 is alkyl or alkenyl having 10 to 22 carbon atoms, X, X1, X2, X3 and X4 are -CH2-CH2-, or Y is -OCH2- or n, p, q, r and m are each zero or one and n + p + q + r a-m wherein a is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and the utility thereof as an equalizing aid in dyeing acrylonitrile-containing polymers.
