Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 131 words
A mold assembly of the type used to manufacture multi-density foamed articles comprising; a body member and a cover member defining a mold cavity, said members being movable between open and closed positions for opening and closing said cavity, a nondistortable sheet disposed within said mold cavity for dividing said mold cavity into at least two sections, said sheet being removably attached to one of said members for being removed from said mold cavity with a foamed article, said sheet being suspended from its extremities and extending centrally through said cavity in spaced relationship to said members whereby said sheet is suspended within said cavity, and passage means in communication with each of said sections whereby foamable materials may be injected substantially simultaneously into each of said sections while maintained separated.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 131 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 18 words
An assembly as set forth in claim 1 wherein said sheet is comprised of a relatively flexible material.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
An assembly as set forth in claim 1 wherein said sheet is comprised of a rigid material.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 30 words
An assembly as set forth in claim 1 wherein said sheet divides said cavity into a core section and shell section which at least in part surrounds said core section.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 27 words
An assembly as set forth in claim 4 wherein said shell section is generally U-shaped in cross section and said core section is disposed within said U-shape.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 47 words
An assembly as set forth in claim 5 wherein said cover member includes said passage means, said passage means including at least one passage extending therethrough and in communication with said core section and at least one passage extending therethrough and in communication with said shell section.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 20 words
An assembly as set forth in claim 6 therein said cover member includes a protrusion extending into said core section.
