Abstract
Abstract A circulation control rotor (CCR) hub having pushrod valves at the inlet to each blade air channel; the valves are operated by either of two cams that have profiles which approximate teacups. One cam is circular in horizontal cross section and provides cyclic lift control air once per revolution; the other cam is oval in horizontal cross section and provides cyclic lift control air twice per revolution. The cams are translatable horizontally and vertically to allow the cam followers to ride on the desired profile.
