Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to the method of treatment of mastitis, preparation of the product for use in the treatment and the product itself. The mastitis is confined to that occurring in cows, ewes and goat does and is treated by intra-mammary infusion of immuno-globulin which is gamma-globulin to which anti-bodies are attached. The immuno-globulin is obtained from the pooled blood of cows suffering from the disease.
