Abstract
Abstract A fan, particularly for use in motor vehicles which has a hub and a plurality of radially deployed blades is disclosed. The blades, made of flexible plastic or spring steel, have a pitch angle at the tips greater than that at the roots. Furthermore, the chords of the blades are wider at the tips than at the roots. The blades may also be thicker at the radial center thereof than at other parts of the blades.
