Abstract
Abstract In the printing of clear, regenerated cellulose or fiber reinforced regenerated cellulose sausage casings, improved adhesion of the ink to the casing and improved drying time for the imprint are obtained by first applying to a substantial proportion of the external surface of said casing a primer coating of a polymeric polyisocyanate, drying the primer coating, and then imprinting over the primer coated area with an oil based ink or a flexographic ink.
