Abstract
Abstract Novel berbine derivatives of the formula: WHEREIN R1 and R2 represent each a methoxy group or jointly a methylenedioxy group; R3 and R4 represent each a hydrogen atom or jointly a direct bond; R5 and R6 represent, the same or different, a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl or a phenyl group; R7 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; A represents a pharmaceutically acceptable anion. The compounds inhibit the growth of transplanted sarcoma strain in mice.
