Abstract
Abstract Novel dyes for plastic substrates which act as filters in such substrates for argon and double-frequency neodymium laser beams are sulfonamide derivatives of 12-H-naphthoperinone. These dyes are soluble in and compatible with the plastic substrate and provide stability to ultraviolet light.
