Abstract

Abstract Certain fluorocarbons, particularly 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2trifluoroethane in admixture with cyclohexanone are useful as evaporative coolant-lubricant compositions. These mixtures are useful in the machining of metals because of their stability, chemical inertness, non-flammability and non-toxicity.
