Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 61 words
IN A PROCESS FOR THE REGENERATION OF A DISALYSIS LIQUID CONTAINING SODIUM CHLORIDE WHICH IS RECYCLED IN A HAEMODIALYSER, THE IMPROVEMENT CONSISTING IN DESTROYING AT LEAST PARTIALLY THE OXIDISABLE WASTE MATTER ISSUING FROM THE BLOOD THROUGH THE HAEMODIALYSIS MEMBRANE BY ELECTROLYSIS OF SAID DIALYSIS LIQUID AN ELECTROLYSIS CELL TO PRODUCE A SUFFICIENT AMOUNT OF SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE TO DESTROY SAID WASTE MATTER.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 61 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 49 words
A process as claimed in claim 1, comprising the steps of regulating the intensity of the current of the electrolysis cell whereby the sodium hypochlorite produced by the electrolysis is at a rate such that the quanity of sodium hypochlorite is substantially zero at the inlet of the haemodialyser.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 36 words
A process as claimed in claim 1, and further comprising the step of passing the dialysis liquid in contact with activated carbon and regenerating the activated carbon in situ by the sodium hypochlorite produced by electrolysis.
