Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 99 words
IN THE METHOD OF DYEING TEXTILES, THE STEPS WHICH COMPRISES: PREPARING A MIXTURE OF DYE, GELATIN AND SOLVENT IN WHICH THE GELATION TEMPERATURE OF THE GELATIN IS ABOVE THE FREEZING TEMPERATURE OF THE SOLVENT: APPLYING THE MIXTURE TO TEXTILE METERIAL: MAINTAINING THE APPLIED MIXTURE AT A TEMPERATURE BETWEEN SAID GELATION AND FREEZING TEMPERATURE: REMOVING THE SOLVENT FROM THE MIXTURE TO RAISE THE GELATIN CONCENTRATION AND GELATION TEMPERATURE: RAISING THE MAINTAINED TEMPERATURE OF SAID MIXTURE BELOW SAID GELATION TEMPERATURE AS THE LATTER INCREASES TO ACCELARATE REMOVAL OF SOLVENT: APPLYING HEAT TO COMPLETE DYE REACTION: AND REMOVING GELATIN FROM THE TEXTILE.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 99 words

Claim 3
Dependent Claim 28 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 1, further characterized in maintaining said applied mixture at a wet bulb temperature adjacent to and below said gelation temperature.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 38 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 2, further characterized in raising the maintained temperature of said mixture while maintaining the mixture wet bulb temperature below said gelation temperature as the latter increases to accelerate said drying.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 19 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 1, further characterized in effecting said solvent removal by air flow.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 25 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 1, further characterized in continuously effecting said mixture application, solvent removal, temperature raising, heating, and gelatin removal.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 24 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 1, further characterized in effecting said application of heat by introducing steam to effectively exclude oxygen.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 18 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 1, further characterized in effecting said gelatin removal by washing.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 40 words
The method of dyeing textiles according to claim 1, further characterized in removing solvent sufficiently to form an outer gelatin skin and applying heat to complete the dye reaction before complete removal of solvent, to minimize the requireD solvent removal.
