Abstract

Abstract A drive wheel is used to rotate a texturizing spindle at high speed. The drive wheel is made from a rubber compound containing extremely short reinforcing fibers and a controlled formulation which provides the drive wheel with a modulus of elongation such that the drive wheel will not distort on its outer drive surface at very high speeds.
