Abstract Compounds having the formula WHEREIN R1 and R2 are lower alkyl, X and Y are hydrogen or, when taken together, they form a bond or an ether linkage, m is 0 to 3, and n is 0 to 2, are good ultraviolet light stabilizers for synthetic polymers.
