Abstract
Abstract A water-based laminating adhesive which cures, upon aging, to a water-resistant, thermally stable material of high bond strength when used as a laminant for a variety of polymer films. The adhesive is applied as an emulsion composition containing, as essential components, a poly (ethyl acrylate), a co-polymer of ethylene and acrylic acid, and an epoxy resin, each component being present within critical concentration limits.
