Abstract

Abstract A novel reactor system and method for conducting dehydrogenation/oxidation reactions such as the dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons to form olefins and/or diolefins, comprising contacting the feed to be reacted in a sequence involving a dehydrogenation catalyst in a first zone, an oxidation or reducible catalyst in a second zone and with an adsorbent in a third zone, said zones being in a single reactor or series of reactors.
