Abstract
Abstract Triazolothienodiazepine compounds of the formula: wherein Ar is a member selected from the group consisting of a phenyl group optionally substituted and a pyridyl group; each of R1 and R2 is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom and an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R1 and R2 together form a tetramethylene group, i.e. -(CH2)4-; and R is a member selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and a phenyl group optionally substituted; and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addtion salts thereof are disclosed. They are useful as minor tranquillizers.
